been more than ten years since the last time they used their sharp knives Ghostface. Occurred in the third film, the worst by far, a saga that returned to the genre of psychopathic murderers lost luster of the glorious eighties. The year was 2000 and Wes Craven returned to get behind the wheel to finish removing what he himself had raised. Some years before, Scream: Watch who's calling, he got an unexpected blockbuster, revolutionizing a genre, that of terror, believed to be exhausted. Since then many other films tried to jump on the bandwagon, tracing the outline frame by frame and the foundation established in Scream.

But ten years is too long, and how to understand the fear has changed. Times evolve, and what scared us today before we laugh; especially since the formula "Scream" has been exploited so much that it seems a concept past ridiculous and repetitive. So this new release is promoted with the phrase: New decade, new rules. Anything can happen, no one is safe. Scream was the challenge of reinventing itself to avoid ending up being a parody of itself, away from all their imitators and reprint his own label. Personally I think it has gotten ... half.

On the one hand the film recaptures the atmosphere of yesteryear, but its freshness, despite the new faces in the cast. I felt a little long, a little monotonous, but from beginning to end I could not look away from the screen. And that this new film is more bloody than its predecessors. Deaths multiply without rhyme or reason, no matter what the victim just walked by, that had nothing to do with the plot, which was carried knife. Yes scare scare what is said, shortly. As for the plot, not to shoot rockets, but will to the point. What to kill, you kill, you have to run, run, you have to jump through a window is skipped. In essence, this is what attracts us to these films, there is tension, there is a murderer lurking, there are surprises and shocks of music if you're out of soup, but you know that nothing will get out of the script, kill the bad guys who there are characters who are only there to kill them, but that all ends as it must end. You feel safe, because sometimes it's fun to be scared without passing, you know that sooner or later the bad will behind knife in hand, that at some point in history any character becomes a suspect and immediately be killed, there turns macabre, which is silly girls roll to follow the unknown caller instead of hanging, and cute girls with good lungs, which is a totally superficial but fun you like, you enjoy, and sometimes it is enough.

There are many nods to previous films, the kind that if you're a fan will make you smile, but still recognizing that it is an entertaining film lacks much to be a good movie, and only gets rid of absolute disaster for its moral end, appropriately enough, sharp, and true reflection of the times, which is more important to have real friends fans and where the recognition, fame, social status is not earned through work. The three surviving players, Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette are, but their presence is merely anecdotal, since neither his characters are developed or have too much significance in the plot. The side are those who pick up the baton, but really none, except perhaps the character of Hayden Panettiere, is look.

In short, a passable movie sagas if you like classic horror films.
